Strategic Communications Lead

Overview

ASEC3 is seeking a Communication’s Lead to assist with developing and executing integrated marketing communications projects according to the strategies and organizational objectives.

Candidates must already possess a current and active TS/SCI with FSP clearance to be considered for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products.
  • Develops and executes integrated marketing communications projects according to the strategies and organizational objectives.
  • Creates communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products including graphics, brochures, company or product fact sheets, logos, or other promotional products.
  • Researches and develops content for publication of products in various media and markets.
  • Prepares presentations and/or speeches. Provides input into the creation of marketing communications program budgets and plans.
  • Develops marketing communications programs designed to support organizational strategies.
  • Analyzes and reports on the effectiveness of marketing communications investments and recommends changes in
    strategy or mix to improve effectiveness.
  • Works with outside vendors, marketing and sales teams to develop strategy.
  • Collaborates with other departments and outside vendors in the content and design of the website.

Required:

  • TS/SCI w/ poly
  • 12-15 years with BS/BA or 10-13 years with MS/MA or 10+ years with PhD.
  • Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field
  • Experience in a communications, marketing, or social media management role
  • Must possess exceptional writing skills and be able to compose engaging and accurate content
  • Understanding of current communications, public relations, and marketing best practices, to include use of social media
  • Ability to translate technical information into accessible and engaging content
  • Ability to think strategically and identify ways to improve communications efforts
  • Must be resourceful and take initiative even when given minimal direction
  • Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Desired:

  • Experience conducting interviews and editing interview material into compelling and engaging written, audio, or video  content
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Knowledge of HTML and various markdown languages
  • Experience developing and implementing successful social media strategies
  • Ability to improve the communication acumen of personnel within the organization via constructive feedback, mentorship, and training
  • Basic photography skills
  • Basic audio recording and editing skills
